WHY CYDEF？
Launched in 2018, CYDEF is the largest cyber defense conference in Japan with cyber defense experts from around the world, with the cooperation of research institutions such as the NATO Cyber Defense Cooperation Center and the U.S. Army Cyber Defense Institute. Over the past four years, more than 200 speakers and 3,000 attendees have participated in the conference.
PURPOSE
The current armed aggression, not limited to cyber attacks and information operations, has engulfed not only the people living there but also the entire international community. Said aggression has heavily impacted economic activities such as resources, finance, and distribution, as well as the cognitive domains of people without reserve. This year’s CYDEF2022 will face this reality and discuss the current situation and trends in the cyber domain, which is directly linked to the impediment of social and economic development from the perspective of defense and security, with experts from Japan and abroad.
